TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

For the last few years I have been given fascia tissue massages from Howard Rontal for Dupuytren's Contracture, a deforming condition of the hand in which one or more fingers contract toward the palm and often results in a functional deformity.

It is a thickening of normal fibrous tissue bands which run from the palm into the fingers. The condition produces lumps in the palm because it is tethered to these fibrous bands. The cause is unknown and there is no cure.

Howard's massages have softened the lumps in my hands and loosened the contractions. On the advice of a naturalpath, I am also taking Enzymatic Therapy's "Acid-A-Cal", which supports balanced ph levels for proper calcium absorption since calcium deposits on the fibrous tissue bands may contribute to the disease.

I am grateful that the massages and supplements have helped my condition and I have not experienced any deformity.
